CONSTANTIN PAPADIMITRIOU
PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD

Constantin is involved with Strategic Asset Allocation, reflections on macro related  opportunities and general key client focus at the Company in addition to his supervisory role. He is investment advisor to Cavamont Holdings and held the role of CEO and CIO of General Oriental Ltd, which is the Investment Advisor of Cavenham Group of funds. In addition, he is founding Partner of Diorasis International. He has over 41 years of experience in investment management in traditional and alternative asset classes. Mr. Papadimitriou received his bachelor’s degree in Commercial Sciences from the University of Geneva in 1982 and his Master’s Degree from the Institute of European Studies in 1987.

MICHELE WASSMER​
BOARD MEMBER

Michele is a non-executive Board Member as well as Partner and lawyer at Borel & Barbey.  With 44 years of experience both in regulatory and litigation matters, she assists and represents financial intermediaries, such as banks and independent asset managers. She also advises managers, representatives and distributors of collective investment schemes, as well as the  sponsors of these foreign investments, on Swiss law aspects. She is active in other areas related to  banking and finance, such as in anti-money laundering and data protection.

Dr. SPYRO METAXAS
BOARD MEMBER

Spyro is an independent legal consultant for more than 30 years, notably as a partner in Legal Care SA. In addition to acting as a trustee and executor, he has been a director of several financial and operational companies, including an architectural firm and an engineering/construction multinational company. He favours multidisciplinary approaches and has led projects of different nature. He holds a Ph.D. (University of Geneva) and a Master’s degree in international law (University of Cambridge – UK).

KONSTANTINOS LANARAS
CEO & BOARD MEMBER

Konstantinos has over 41 years of experience in private banking in Geneva, having worked for Republic National Bank and its successor bank, HSBC, from 1988 to 2005 first as a Relationship  Manager and later on as Managing Director. From 2005 to 2009, simultaneously with founding and managing CAPLAND SA, Mr. Lanaras was COO of the CMA Group of Companies, a Fund of Hedge Funds that had approximately $3 billion under management across 13 funds. Mr. Lanaras received his BA and MA from Webster University of St Louis in Geneva, Switzerland with a focus on Management and International Relations.

LODEWIJK VAN MOORSEL
HEAD OF INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS

Lodewijk is Head of Institutional Relationships for CAPLAND SA and Alt.co and participates actively in various Investment Committees. His roles bring his research, fund selection, marketing and business development skills together after 33 years of experience in servicing institutional as well as private clients. Between 1990 and 2008, Lodewijk worked for Schroders and Goldman Sachs in London and New York. In 2008, he joined the Key Clients division of UBS in Geneva and in 2010 became part of a joint-venture between Bruellan Wealth Management and Odey Asset Management. He moved across to Odey (Switzerland) SA in 2014 to distribute Odey Funds. This was followed by asset and fund selection roles for a multi-family office. Lodewijk graduated from the European Business School in 1990.

GREGORY LANARAS​
HEAD OF CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT​

Gregory serves as a Client Relationship Manager and has over 9 years of experience at CAPLAND. He is responsible for the research and operations of the CAPLAND Alternatives Fund. He is an active member of the Investment Committees and also conducts specific investment research. He is a graduate of American University in Washington DC with a BA in Finance and a Minor in Entrepreneurship. Gregory is also CIO of 360 Group SA, an IT & Digital Marketing company active in both Switzerland and Greece.

MARIE-ELISE LIECHTI
CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Marie-Elise is responsible for the compliance, operations and administration of the Company. She  has over 29 years of experience in similar functions at a number of companies. She obtained a  bachelor in Economics at the University of Geneva in 1995. Since then, she worked at Bank  MultiCommercial, she then worked at Credit Suisse First Boston as a trading assistant following  by a small family office in 2007 before joining the company in 2013

ELSA CHEVALIER
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

Elsa recently joined CAPLAND and serves as an Assistant Client Relationship Manager. She is responsible for all the operational and administrative aspects of CAPLAND clients’ portfolios. Elsa is also an active member of the Investment Committees. Prior to CAPLAND she worked for 2 years as a private banker assistant for Rothschild & Co in Marseille. She graduated as a law student from Aix-Marseille Université and obtained a Master’s degree in Banking Law & Wealth Management.

ADI SOMECH​
CLIENT RELATIONS​

Adi has been a client relationship manager with CAPLAND for the past 5 years, where his  primary responsibilities are managing the relationship with the company’s digital asset-related  clients. He is also the head of Trading for Altcoinomy SA, a sister company of CAPLAND, a Swiss  financial intermediary focused on the digital asset industry. Prior to this, he was an associate with S. Horowitz & co., one of Israel’s premier law firms, where he focused on litigation law. Mr.  Somech received his BA in Business Administration as well as his law degree from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya).

OLIVIER COHEN​
ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Olivier, also owner of Altcoinomy SA, is an active member of the Advisory Board of CAPLAND SA. He has over 24 years of experience in asset management, having been at MKS Finance, risk manager for exotic derivatives at JP Morgan in London and senior trader at JP Morgan in Geneva as well as a fixed income trader at Banque de Commerce & Placements. He is also responsible for the development and maintenance of the company’s IT systems. Olivier received his Major in Mathematical and Computational Finance from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Toulouse.
